A Little Momentum

We went back in for an ultrasound on Tuesday and had a great appointment.  Our doctor said she was encouraged by what she saw and went so far as to say “you may have dodged a bullet.”  By this she means that she was encouraged by the results of the ultrasound/Doppler’s for Madison.  So we’ve had two good weeks of appointments since we’ve been back and are thankful for that.  Additionally they did the gestational diabetes test for Allison and it came back negative.  We had a Butterfinger bar (one of Allison’s favorites) to celebrate!

Obviously, we were encouraged good reports from our doctors but are reminded by Psalm 20:7 who our trust is ultimately in.  God is so good!

  • Ned:

Maybe you should have a pan of scotcheroo bars to celebrate. I ate a whole pan once…got sick. I don’t recommend it.

God IS so good and we continue to have faith and confidence about the girls’ health (including Allison’s) over at our house. Yippee! I don’t like Butterfingers, but I do love pastry. If ever you need a doughnut buddy, Allison, I’m your girl.

  • Jess and Melissa:

We are praying for all of you. Your strong faith in this trying time is a testimony to many. May God Bless you with comfort and peace tonight.
PS. I over-ate on scotch-a-roos once too, Ned. Stick with the one butterfinger to celebrate and you’ll feel much better.

Matt and Allison, have been following closely your progess and I am so thankful for the wonderful daily news about your girls. Allison if you want to talk at all about Olivia know that I am there and understand exactly what you’re feeling. Let me know, I’d love to stop by sometime and help in anyway I can. Keep up the good work. Much love Cathy

I think over eating on scotcharoos is something we should all experience – we’ve probably got a leg up on everyone since we grew up taking “a row” instead of just one 🙂 Glad to hear you’ve had some good appointments!! That’s great news! Miss you guys – can’t wait to see you soon!
