Challenging Weekend Ahead

Today we got some bad news.  Olivia’s ultrasound (Doppler on umbilical cord) went from the improvement we saw Wednesday to persistent reverse flow today.  We were told the prognosis is much worse for her and were scheduled for surgery on Monday.  The decision on what surgery to do or whether or not to do surgery will depend on how Olivia’s doing tomorrow night.  We will be going back to the hospital for ultrasounds and are asking God to completely heal her.  The next couple of days will be spent preparing for the worst but trusting God for the best.  Psalm 34:19 says, “The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.”  We have seen His hand of deliverance many times and are putting our complete trust in Him again.  We love you all.

Matt & Allison, we are praying for you and Olivia. We believe that God is in control of the lives of all 3 of your babies and that He isn’t nervous about the outcome. Psalm 139:13 says, “For You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. (vs. 14-16 are good too) We believe God will take care of you and your children. He never fails! Believe the report of the Lord. It’s the only real truth there is. Every other report is man’s best guess or what will happen without God.

We love you. Happy Birthday, Allison.

Be strong IN the Lord and IN the power of His might. Eph. 6:10
You don’t have to be strong on your own strength. God is fighting for you, and will shelter you even in this storm.
